I gotta tell you... as more of us get vaccinated and start to "return to normal," one of the things we be encountering is that our normal has shifted. My energy is not what it was prior to the pandemic. I need to slow down more often these days, and admit that rest is not an enemy. It's been an interesting dance between a lot of the "-isms," the should's and could's, and my intension to practice compassionate self love. When the self love wins, I usually end up in nature. Even giving myself five minutes in the sun where I can feel it's warmth, smell and feel the air, and breathe with nature... it's so simple but it really does give me a recharge. How are you navigating this phase of the pandemic? Do you miss nature and gathering with others? We are having our first in person event this month. This is going to be a socially distant, covid compliant event on 4/25 at 2pm. Join our AHICommunity by becoming a member in our profile link and get free access to events, soft skill resources, and more. Try the first 30 days for free, then it's only $5 a month. Think of it like your soft skills resource center. And remember... shit is still hard right now, so being kind to yourself really matters now more than ever. When you're feel overwhelmed grab some nature and just breathe. Survival is kicking ass right now, so celebrate that.
